My Surname is missing in 'spouse name' column of my wife's passport. Processing Dubai family Visa problem?

My Surname is missing in 'spouse name' column of my wife's passport. Because of this processing Dubai family visa will be a problem? Please advice me.

  1. Sometimes... depends on the person who is sitting in the counter of NRD while you submitting the application for the Visa.

    Anyhow, if you have the Marriage Certificate (Duly Attested by the Embassy) & Legal Translation of Marriage Certificate, it will not be a problem, it will mention both of yours names...

  2. For sponsoring wife's visa they require only three documents:-

    Your passport,Your wife's passport and marriage certificate that's it.

    My passport did not included my husband's name( I mean that column was empty, since it was issued before my marriage).....I came here two years ago.

    We have just submitted our passport in consulate of india in dubai for our newborn son's passport, for adding the spouse's name in our passports.

    So i think they see that column only when you have children. I don't think that it will be a problem. Best of Luck!
