My TRUNK WON'T OPEN!!!1998 Toyota Corolla ?

my dad was the last one to close my car's trunk IDK if he closed it hard or not but ever since then it won't open, (not with key or the pull thing inside the car) i think the only way remove the back seat is to pull on somethimg inside the trunk PLEASE HELP??

Its possible that something may be caught between the latch and the lock.

I had a car that had loose carpet and it was forever falling over the latch and stopping the boot from opening (sorry, im in Aus, boot = trunk)

You're right, You'll need to remove the back seat and have someone turn the key while you push up on the trunk lid from inside the trunk.

You can try turning the key and holding it, while trying to force the trunk up, but if its jammed real tight, it wont work.
