My TV is making this weird beep beep noise (read details)...it's an old Sony?

Question

I've had this tv for more then 10 yrs now and have never heard her(t.v) make such noises...it's goes on with an endless beep beep like it's a time bomb lol when ever i turn it on...any way i know that she is not in sleep mode or any thing similar can any one tell me any remedies to this or atleaset tell me what kind of hardware faults can cause such behaviour?

(just recenlty i've noticed that she was turning blue at random moments but can this be causing the beeps, this used to always happen but the beeps just started?)

Very strange.  I have no idea.  But a ten-year-old TV is ready to retire.
