Taking very careful aim after looking over all the buttons on the TV, DVD Player and DVR you 'push' the correct button with your index finger. I promise this is a tried and true method that has yet to fail. Good Luck.

Look for a hidden panel on your TV set if it is a newer model, inside that panel are the buttons to change TV, CABLE, AUDIO, INPUT, OUTPUT & VIDEO.
