My TV suddenly lost some color!?

Question

The top of my TV suddenly lost some color and is showing everything in green/kind of yellow, but the other half looks like before. Does anyone knows what this could be and how can I fix it?

You probably got a magnet too close to it.  Like in a speaker.  

I don't think that will change back.,

somebody probably stuck a magnet on ur tv, when a magnet isz put on a tv the colors do go wierd...go get it fixed? hoped this helped!

i say contact the company that controls your tv usually if it's the tv's fault they don't cost you

Magnets,    check to see if you have anything magnetic around,   usually speakers,   keep speakers far away from the set

A brand and model would be extremly usefull

Hitachi/Sony/Mitsubishi/Samsung (and others) CRT based rear projection?

Look like the colors are somewhat seperated or lines moving around created an area where the colors are off?

Most likely bad convergence amp IC's---generally $250-$400 for the repair depending on the market you're in.  $275-$350 here.

Depends what kind of TV it is. I had an old RCA projection that suddenly went haywire and there was a red shadow all over the picture. It was 10 years old so I just junked it. Call a TV repair man!
