My Tamagotchi is acting really strangely and I'm not sure how to fix it!?

Well, some wierd little icon is flashing on the screen. It looks like a little USB with an "x" in the center and the little picture seems to be in the middle of a big "x" covering the whole screen. I'm not sure if it needs new batteries or I should just reset it? Help?!

That is what happen to me when i got it wet so maybe that happened

The strange icon means that your tamagotchi needs new batteries. Resetting it won't work at all because the icon will just come back again. So, just buy new batteries and then reset your tamagotchi and it will be back to normal =].

The battery is dead. There is a battery compartment on the back of your tama. just get a screwdriver, take that old battery out, and put a new one in. Once you do that, you just press the reset button. Two choices will come up. One will say download, the other reset. Select download. This will save all of you data that you had before you had that icon come up. Your tamagotchi will be back to normal. By the way, the battery is kind of weird and flat. It is circular. the type of battery is a 2032 lithium 3v battery. hope this helps!
