My Taskbar for XP will not show?

Question

I must have downloaded some sort of virus because all of the sudden I dont have a taskbar anymore. I can go unlock it but it doesnt unlock it. I can't find a program or anything that would help fix this problem. I cant connect to the internet or anything . I dont know whats wrong. Please help

if your sure if it is a virus attack maybe you can try to scan your computer for viruses.

silly but if you havent please try below:

ctrl + esc or window button will reveal the start button on the taskbar if in case you accidentally resize/move it.

you can go to control panel > taskbar for settings on your taskbar in case you accidentally autohide or other settings to modify.

If you press the windows key, does the taskbar appear?  From there can you pull it up one notch?
