My Ten Month old is having Tantrums should she be at this age?

Question

My Ten month old little girl has started to throw tantrums in the last week and they are driving me mad!

is she frustrated that she cant walk and get around?

or is she just being a girl?

anyone else experienced this?

To be on the safe side you should let your child have a check up.  Does she like to be touched and make eye contact?  One just has to make sure there are no underlying problems, like autism.  I'm sure she's fine, though, but you can never be too careful.  Please don't take my advice the wrong way.  I have a mentally handicapped child and am just very paranoid about these things.

completely normal. My daughter started having little ones @ 6 months. They got worse, she still has them on occassion, this a.m. in fact. My solution is this and it works. I just lay her back so she can't throw herself backward and slam her had on the ground. I look her in the eye and tell her, "when you are finished crying and throwing your fit, you can join us in whatever I want her to do" and walk away, encourage everyone else to do the same. Doesn't take 2 seconds she up and wanting to do what everyone else is doing.

Hi!I have a 2 year old boy and he started to act up about 1 year.The thing with him was that he knew what he was doing and if he didn't get it he would get mad.Also,we think if we give into everything they want then it's ok for them to act up.I think for me,with my son is we gave him lots of attention and he would act up to get everything.There's no such thing as a terrible two,both my boys were terrible around 1-1 and 1/2 years old.Take care and good luck.

Yes it's very normal for a baby her age to have a tantrum. Everybody gets mad! A ten months old do that because they want to be held, when they don't get their way. They are trying to express themselves since they can not talk which makes others can not understand them>

Sometimes they do that because they are overtire!
