My TomTom Gps is stuck in advertising mode please Help?

I have had my tomtom for almost a year and just yesterday it started advertising its features on the display. when I tap the screen I can access menus for a split second but then the advertising comes right back up. I can also listen to the directions its giving but I cannot view the map because of the advertising. It is basicly running through pages of the features it offers. anyone know how to cut this off

Try the reset button.  It's probably in a little tiny pinhole on the bottom of the unit, but on some units it's sort of hidden.  If you don't see it check this:  http://tomtom.com/7134

There should be a reset button on it. On my Garmin Nuvi 360, its under the antenna. Hope this helped.
