I Ate Some Extremely Sour Sweets And My Tongue Has Little

Dots Over It + It Looks Like The Skin Is Peeling

Also I Have the dentist tomorrow please help

(Does Mouthwash Help ?)

  1. To be honest you'd need to see your Dentist/GP and show them the spots. Are you sure they are not hives? You could have had an allergic reaction to the sweets. Are your lips swelling? If you have difficulty swallowing or your breathing is affected, seek medical attention asap


  2. It might be ulcers I've had tiny dots on my tongue as ulcers but I don't think the skin peeled off.

  3. im sure it will b fine!! i do it all the time - drink lots of cold water and keep ice cubes in your mouth - this should stop the stinging and numb it a little!! also you could use bonjela to knumb it a little but it will sting for a couple of seconds!!

    wen you go to the dentist jst explain to him/her wat you have done - it will b ok xx

  4. All sour candies have acid on them, that's what makes them sour. You simply have "burned" your tongue. Nothing major, mouthwash could help for a while but your tongue will continue to be irritated until it fully heals.

    Next time only eat a few of the sours at a time! ^_^
