I have a one year London shorthold, with an option to renew for second year, and it says 'the landlord shall not unreasonably withold consent' to an extension. I have been refused consent because he wants to put the flat on the market, and" 'it is easier to sell a vacant flat". Are these reaosnable grounds to refuse consent?Answers from legal experts only please!
