My UPLOAD speed is very slow, buy my DL is fine?

Question

I have been having a few problems with my router lately. My internet is running pretty slow when used through the router. I am getting about 17.5 Megs down when plugged in directly, but only about 5 Megs down when used via the wireless trendnet router. Also, when the router is plugged in I am getting only about a 7000 K upload speed. Yes, that is a K as in an upload speed equivalent to dial-up. Anybody have any ideas?

ru using ADSL router ? becoz its known to be good for downstream or downloading not for upstreaming or uploading
