My US visit visa application has been rejected. What can I do?

Purpose: to attend brother's ordination

Reason for rejection: Young single and mobile...possiblity of returning from the US is bleak

a. Should I re-apply?

b. How can I prove that I will return?

I have my employers letters...but apparently that didnt help...! Im an Indian citizen, born and brought up in Kuwait

  1. you need  to  re apply and  bring  in  the  bank statements  too  and  show  proof   of   return  like  your   ticket

  5. You need to show TIES toyour home. Bring bank statements, tax returns, proof of real estate ownership, car ownership...the types of things that show you are likely to return. Also be willing and able to post a surity bond with your visa that in case you decide to cut and run and stay in the USA they could seize your assets in India.

    I would suggest you do these things as quickly as possible and reapply. The thing that is hurting you is that you were born and raised outside of India which in itself the USA looks on as a flight risk.

    There is still no guarantee with all that and a trip to the Indian Emabassy in Kuwait may render some assistance.
