  1. Do you live with your uncle? Why would you feel obligated to eat out with him everytime he goes to buffets? Tell him you're on a diet and you'll pass. Or if this is a bigger deal than any of us know... just go with him and eat the salad with fat free dressing.

  2. Okay, so I see your stuck in a pot hole and your having trouble getting out because your afraid of hurting your uncle's feelings. That's great that you care but if I were you I would try to get him out of the pot hole he's in. Buffets are generally unhealthy and in the long run who knowns what health risks the foods that he's intaking may contribute to his health. *KNOCK ON WOOD* I would try to persuade him to go to buffets less often so than you wouldn't have to endure the robotic menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and he would be eating healthier hopefully somewhere else. If that doesn't work I would tell him honestly that you want to lose weighta and hopes that he understands. Hopefully that helped. My family goes out to buffets too but not really often, they are quite pricy!. Good luck!

  3. just tell him the truth but nicely

    he'll probably listen to you

  4. Be direct and tell him that you are trying to eat less and eating at the buffet makes you overeat. As far as the healthy options look for baked fish, soup and salad, or baked or broiled chicken(skinless) with a salad  and some veggies.

  5. There are several foods at a buffet that are healthy. Baked fish, baked chicken b*****s, steamed veggies/no butter, most buffets have great salad bars also with the option of fat free/ lo cal dressings available. The buffet I work at also offers a sugar/fat free dessert section and wheat dinner rolls.

  6. sit him down on the kerb and say simply say uncle i dont wana eat buffet?

  7. just tell him
