My University's library is not open 24 hours. Do I start a petition to the University to make it open 24hrs?

How do I go about getting the students interested in raising fees to get the library to remain open 24 hours a day?

Will the fees compensate the staff for working those night shifts?  If not the university will not approve it.

You can try.  But if the students don't want it open 24 hours, they will not support you.  What time does it close?  At midnight, I bet.  This is long enough for it to be open.
