Question:

My Uvula is Sticking to my Throat Still?

This morning, my uvula was curled up and forward and was sticking to my throat. It felt like I was swallowing it, and felt like there was a grain of salt stuck in my throat every time I swallowed. Now it doesn't feel like that anymore, but my uvula is still sticking. I'm drinking a lot of cold water and I hope that will help. Any ideas?

What can I do?

  1. You could have what is called pharyngitis. It is an infection in this area. Is your uvula swollen or inflamed? Is your mouth dry?  That could also be the problem. I feel you need to see the doctor. If you do not want to see the doctor and your throat is not sore try gargling with biotene. This stuff really helps  with a dry mouth and also kills bacteria.

  2. Woahh, i've never heard of that before!

You should go see your doctor, though it doesnt sound all that serious it could very well be.

As for solutions to the problem, i would've said drink plenty of water too 'cause your throat might just be dry.

Hmm yeah see your doctor.. :s
