My VW is c**p. How about yours??

Question

Anyone else have a c**p one?

Mine is 2005 registered,and is the worst car I've ever owned. Loads of faults,returns to dealer.

Yeah, VW is always toward the bottom of the pack in relaibility.  Always 28th or 29th out of 38 manufacturers.

Be grateful you don't own a Range Rover, at least.

I will tell you that the new one's are a little better, but still would recommend about 15 manufactuers over them.

I will never own a VW.

Thank the lord that sombody else thinks the VW is not as good as the advertising would lead us to believe. They may of been the top dog 20 years ago but now they are over priced for what they are & have as many if not more faults than other makes.

Mine was c**p too. I spent more on it in 18 months than I did in a combined 9 years driving 1 Lada and 2 Skodas. Wouldn't touch one again, even if it was a company car.

my three year old transporter was c**p, only kept it for six months.......then exchanged it for a toyota hiace.....which is loverly

i have a older VW X reg,mine is c**p 2 its a beetle it is always breaking i am getting a new car next week i am fed up of spending money on the pile of c**p !!!!

I've had 2 Volkswagens and they've always been good to me.  My first one was a 1998 Jetta GLS that I got when I was 16 and I beat the c**p out of it; still ran like a gem with no expensive repairs ever.  I have a 2008 Rabbit Sport now, and I only have about 10K miles on it but I have no complaints whatsoever.  Unless I have a horrible experience with my current car, I plan on getting another Volkswagen when my lease is over.  (Only bicker is that my VW dealer freakin' sucks and they're crooks)

I've owned 3 and drive them till they die. Love em. Out side of a couple of electronic issues with my old ones they are sweet.

I currently have an 04 Jetta Wagon.

I owned VW's for years, and was generally satisfied with them.  But Consumer's Reports ratings have not been kind to VW of late.

They're not what they used to be that's for sure.

But everyone keeps buying the overpriced things for some reason.

I have owned Volkswagen vehicles continuously for the last 34 years. Over that time I have driven many different types and models with both petrol and diesel engines, I can honestly say I have NEVER had a bad one. I would recommend Volkswagen to anyone as a good reliable and durable vehicle, however I have found that good dealer servicing at the recommended intervals is the key to a long life and high mileage.

As to your 2005 model can only think you have got what is known in the trade as a lemon! You must just be unlucky as this is definitely not my experience with Volkswagen, nor that of many friends who have bought VW vehicles on my recommendation.
