  1. Wear a T-shirt and short and possibly knee pads if you have.  Remove any jwellery, includes rings.

Since you are just begining the coach would most likely teach you the basics like serving and bumping.  The key is to keep an eye on the ball and position youself where you can use both of your hands.  Take notes and practice.  Volleyball is a fun game, hope you enjoy the clinic.

  2. What to wear: volleyball shoes (or running shoes), spandex (or short shorts), a light t-shirt (or a vball jersey), hair pulled up, KNEE PADS!, and (if u hav sum) volleyball sox (or regular sox, or kneee high sox)

What they do: they should cover passing alot, sum hitting, maybe serving, and a slite chance they'll do setting. if this is more than a 1 day clinic then they will break up the skills on different days.

What to know: how to pass, how to hitt, how to serve, and (only if ur good at it) how to set. PASSING IS THE BIGGEST SKILL 2 NO.

    U WILL RUN AND CONDITION.

  3. Wear what you have that would make you look like other volleyball players.

Give your best effort, listen to the coach... and follow instructions. You will be doing fine.

  4. you're gonna be really tired if you have never played. bring lots of water and/or gatorade and have an energy bar before you go so you can play with energy.

i would wear shorts, a t-shirt, any performance-type sneaker and kneepads if you can.

they are going to just teach you basics and try to help you the best you can. have fun! :]
