I've made sure all the connections are correct as my Xp system works fine with the same connections. I recently wiped the vista system clean so that might be why its not working? Has anyone got a solution to why i cant locate network devices?

  1. you will need to re-install drivers for ANY devices connected to the machine.

  2. It depends what network devices you're looking for: It should be able to see any router or such device, but it won't see any computers or NAS devices or network printers unless it's on the correct domain.

  3. Vista drivers problem, get used to it. Re-install the drivers for your Network Card. Try Control Panel > Device Manager and look for your NIC. I am not a Vista Tech so you may have to look around. There should be a Drivers tab on the properties page that allows you to update the drivers.

    Cheers
