My Warcraft 3 Game won't start up... Any help?

whenever i try to start up my warcraft 3 game it freezes and does nothing showing the picture. Please help!!!

Try installing the latest patches for the game. Patches can solve many problems like video and sound problems, glitches, etc. Get the latest patches for Warcraft 3 from its official website.

Reinstall and don't delete any save game files if you have any.

I had this problem with one of my games. I could not locate the direct X. My video card, which I thought was up to date, sadly, was not. I simply went to microsoft and downloaded the current video and graphic drivers and bam, success. Although this ay not solve your problem, if you call blizzard they can usually help you with most anything. Look them up  at their site [blizzard.com] and go to wc3. Theere should be a phone number listed in customer support.
