Question:

My Whirlpool washer will not stay filled up. I will put it on med load, and it will just keep running?

It will hold a little bit of water but it will just continue to run water into it and it seems the water it just running right back out.

  2. Interesting.  The pump would have to be running or the drain hose is lower then the water level.  I guess the drain hose is inserted into the stack?

  3. if the drain is lower than the tub the water will run out,but if high enough it has to be pumped out so i say your spin cycle pump is working all the time,or a valve is stuck open,you will need a tech to look it over...........tom

  4. i would agree that the water can't just run out of the washer unless the drain hose is lower than it should be.

    where is the water going that just seems to keep running out?

    the only other thing i can think of is the small hose that runs from the bottom of the washer up to the switch that lets you set the amount of water that you want in the machine IS LEAKING and so it never gives the switch a Chance to read the correct pressure to shut the water off.

    that being said, you should have water leaking SOMEWHERE on the FLOOR?

    does it work O.K. with a full load?
