Most of the Motels have there own kitchen which can save you a lot of money and remember New Zealand has the most succulent fish and an abundance of fresh produce. But for a bit more luxury and to save that bit extra money take a look at www.wotif.com and only book a hotel a week or 2 before  for the best discounts.
