  1. It can leave a sticky residue on the tv.  It's environmentally unhealthy and toxic to breathe that stuff in higher concentrations.  I would google "air freshener aerosol" - there have been some recent reports on it.


  2. nope, it won't harm your LCD.  Plasma screens are the ones that have had glare issues, but no coating was ever used from the manufacturer, as it would decrease the picture quality.  keep a non-amonia based glass cleaner nearby and clean your screen once per week.  Your TV will appreciate it.

  4. Some HDTV's have coatings for glare elimination and filtering on their screens.  Chemicals applied to the screens can eat away the coatings and ruin the tv.  Damp (with water) microfiber cloths are all that should be used to clean an HDTV screen.
