My Wii Nunchuk won't move left! Help me please?

Question

Basically, the Nunchuk won't move left in Mario Kart Wii. It works perfectly in Wii Sports, but in Mario Kart Wii, it won't move left in the menus. It is also a bit weird in the actual game as well, as I keep driving all weird everytime I try to move left. Can anyone give me any tips to sort it out? And, no I'm not buying a new one, as I only got the Wii three weeks ago.

guess what it like that for me when i play mario kart i always bash and when i turn a corner i turn left quickly before going round the bend and sometimes when i turn it keeps going forward lol

Well, you don't use the Nunchuck in Wii Sports....

Unplug the Nunchuck from the Wiimote, make sure that NOTHING is touching the control stick, and plug it back in. If that doesn't work, call Nintendo.
