I just plugged in my Wii to my TV upstairs and it's gone black and white. Its fine on my parents TV downstairs but no colour on mine. Its an american console being used in the UK. I get that it the console is on NTSC and my TV is PAL but why does it work on my parents TV and not mine?!?

  1. you need to go into the nintendo wii settings and change the tv setting not sure wat it could but it should give you a list wiv 60 hz 50 hz etc change it to 60 i think it is hope it works

  2. Maybe your other TV suopprts HTSC and your TV does not so the image can't be displayed as it should.

  3. it depends, rgb stands for red green blue, these r the components for audio and visual. if u dont put them in right then they will appear black n white. u probably rearranged them wrong. the same thing happened to me, and it was because i forgot to put a plug in it was the other red one. hope this helps.  :)

  4. check your video setting on the tv, if it is set for RGB and you have it plugged into the basic a/v plugs the result will be a black and white image.

  5. Lol the same thing happened with me, make sure all the wires are in the correct places.
