My Wii won't read Wii Sports?

I know this question has been asked thousands of times but bear with me for a moment. ^_^ I have had my Wii for a year now with no problems. It plays all the games that I have without scratching them and without error messages. But the weird thing now is that it won't play Wii Sports. I thought it was because the disc might be slightly scratched so I borrowed a friends which was perfectly clean. The game worked for an hour with my friends then said disc error again. I'm entering it correctly because the artwork shows up on the channel screen. So, one of my main questions is it my disc or is it my Wii? I can't tell if its overheating and I have it in the upright position. Any solutions would be helpful!

Try contacting the people at Wii.

It sounds like your system has a glitch.

I had that problem for awhile! It happend when my brother edjected the disk durning game play! but after i let the Wii sit for a week or 2 it went back to normal

I'd say it's likely your Wii. The same thing happened with my Gamecube when I bought Twilight Princess. Sometimes Disc Error. Sometimes I could play for a while and THEN disc error....Call nintendo and tell them....have you tried other games?

You might need a new wii or wii sport game!!!
