I am trying to figure out why my used space on my computer has gone up dramatically lately. I am at 63.9 GB on C Drive. Windows has 44.9 GB, My Documents has 2.63, Program Files 1.75 GB, Documents and Settings 12.2 GB...where can I trim the fat and are some of these numbers abnormal ?

  1. Your Windows folder shouldn't be that large.  It should be around 3-4GB.  What programs have you installed lately?

  2. Time to clean up your computer.Download tuneup utilities 2008 and clean up your whole system. Its a 30 days trial version.

  3. ermmm... thats new. Xp should take 2 - 3 gig... not 45. thats really unusual. go in and see if anythings amiss, and backup things because that may be a bad sign.
