My Windows cannot read my new USB DVD Burner ?

i just bought this dvd burner and now its saying cannot find hardware device it worked for awhile then it stopped even for my hardware that's build in my computer whats wrong with it how do i fix this stressfulness

Did you install the software that came with your dvd burner?You need to install the driver software,if you didn't get a disc with it windows will search for it ,it will take some time but usually will find one.If you have a disc make sure you install it BEFORE you attach the burner.Sometimes it takes a few times.Good luck.

Can you view the drive in My Computer?

Check for any loose connections.

Try re-installing the drivers.
