Question:

My WoW Warrior Professions...?

Okay, I have a hunter with Mining Engineering, but I find Engineering somewhat useless.

I was thinking for my new troll warrior to have either Mining/Blacksmith, but I also though Herb/Alchemy???

Any help?

  1. What you choose largely depends on your focus. will you be working on pvp or pve (tanking or dps) or will you want a profession that can get you money? if you want money i would go with herbalism/alchemy or enchanting or maybe just skip those all together and go with just skinning and mining so you can sell the mats and not waste your materials leveling up points, with engineering there is a few good items but not a whole lot however potions can be useful for both you and your raiding group or you can choose a blacksmith. Blacksmiths have several Bind-On-Pickup items which are good for both pvp and pve depending on whether you choose weapon smith or armor smith Another bonus is since you already have a hunter that is an engineer and mining you can get your own mats with him and send it to your new character as long as they are both horde characters and on the same server. Tailoring can be decent for making bags but cloth items won't do you much good and leather working can make armor patches but that's pretty much all that you can make that's useful for you. i recommend going to http://wow.allakhazam.com/ and taking a look around to see what you can make. Go to game info then professions to check them out. By the way fishing and cooking is useful as well endgame. i used to go fishing for golden fish sticks and i was 5 points away from the highest possible fishing skill level. (all the fishing contest gear except for the hat)375+35(arcanite rod)+5(fishing line)+5(boots)+3(glove enchant) i think so i had it pretty good :)

  2. depends if i was u i would actually take alch/bs but that depends if ur into end game raiding cuz alch can be real useful

  3. well, with a warrior its great to make your weapons such as stormherald with blacksmithing, but at the same time there are some potions out there that are to good to be true. personally i think black smithing would be better because you can buy potions and theres better trinkets for a warrior than an alchemist stone. If you want you can not do a manufacturing profession at all do herb/skin.

  4. Yes,Herb/Alchemy is a nice choice.

  5. Engineering/Enchanting

if you are level 70, just buy your mats. Don't waste your professions on gathering ones.

if you found Engineering useless, it means you didn't level it very high.

Not as useful for a hunter, but still helps.

Have you ever been rezzed by a warrior?

    Its quite helpful.

I think its most helpful used by a rogue.

In a wipe, you vanish, wait, then rez the healer.
