My Wooden Furniture Getting Damaged as white Dust?

My wooden Furniture (Plywood) seems to be getting Damaged. White Powder like is emitting from the Bottom of the Furniture (Plywood) regularly.It seems some mites are damaging the Furniture.

Can any body give solution for this Problem?

  3. Plywood is made from laminations of wood glued together. Usually the wood is poor quality and ideal for munching by various insects.

    Stand the feet in plastic containers, and brush -on a clear wood preservative, preferably oil based.Let it soak up from the tubs into the feet.

    After about 2 weeks in the dry, do the same again, but this time use Danish Oil.

    This is a boiled linseed oil base, with other dryers, and will restore the oils on the wood, leaving it waterproof.

    Brush on liberally - use the tubs on the feet again, and after an hour, wipe off the excess with a lint free rag. Doesn't matter if it gets rained on after application.

    Re-treat every 5 years (or when it goes pale), and should last indefinately.
