My Xbox 360 has the rings of death or whatever its called and i have some questions?

Question

1 they are sending some sort of box in a week its been a week when should i expect it.

2 how long does it take to get there, fixed and back

3 this sounds wierd but when i picked up my 360 it sounded like a spring was in it is that why it has the rings of death

1. It took a three weeks for my box to come so expect to wait at least another two weeks.

2.From the time you mail the box in it should take a month to get ur 360 back

3.No the Ring of Death is a hardware failure
