My Xbox 360 won't work right? Details inside....?

My Xbox 360 turns on but we could only hear the sound of it. We could hear it actually going to the X box sign with all of those noises. It's just a black screen with the sound still working. All the wires and plugs are in correctly and it still won't show anything on the screen. What should I do? Please help soon!!! Thanks.

The First Answer could be correct because I cannot think of anything else. On the cable that goes to the TV, when it plugs into the back of the console it has a little switch that says"TV-HDTV" Make sure that it is not on HDTV.

on the tv adapter there are two settings, HDTV and TV. you probably have it on HDTV.

Check your AV cables that they're put to TV not HD. If it's not that then the yellow plug messed up and you need to buy new AV cables.
