My Xbox 360 wont read disks.?

Anyone know anything about disk drives dieing in Xbox 360s? The hard drive works fine but all my games don't read. :(

Mine is in the process of doing the same thing.  I have a really old xbox (from when they first came out, pre-HDMI).  I'm thinking about buying a new one with an HDMI port.  I have to open the game tray at least 4 times for a disc to be read.  It's a pain!

You may need to take it to your nearest computer dealer and they can clean the laser inside that reads the disks (If that is dirty it won't read them).

My son's started with the same issue...which we later learned was a symptom of impending "Three Lines" .....the infamous Red Ring of Death. Good luck.
