My Xbox isnt showing a picture?

ok i have a original Xbox. when i plug it in it isn't showing any picture or audio at all.

Make sure you have the right TV channel. Some Tv's have more than one AUX, and some have a game channel button that can only be accessed though the remote. Also be certain that you put the AV into the input, not output.

Try turning it off, unplugging the cables that are connecting your Xbox to the screen/tv- then re-plug them in again (make sure the audio and video cables are plugged in to the right place!) and plug your box into the power source again.  Then press the power button.  The power button is key.  I hope you tried the power button already, but if not, that's a quick fix too.  

There might be a problem with your cables, so if you have another set you might want to try those if just re-plugging and res-starting doesn't work.
