  1. little fishes

  2. buy commercially brand food.

  3. You might want to stimulate her into eating with live fish, as others have said (but go easy on the goldfish - they are fattening).  She might appreciate a live earthworm, too.

Since she's 3, she'll be more interested in greens, too.  If she's refusing her veggies, try fruit.  Offer her a small wedge of orange (no seeds), or a bite of pear, apple, cantaloupe, or grape.

You mentioned a basking light.  Does she have UVB (they need sun or the equivalent to process calcium and vitamins), and a cuttle bone in the water for calcium?

I wouldn't worry too much if she doesn't eat through the weekend, but I wouldn't let it go much past 2 wk. without calling the vet.  She could have parasites or an infection

.If you don’t already know of a qualified exotics/reptile vet in your area, google: “Herpetological Society” -or-

http://www.herpvetconnection.com/  for the one closest to you.

Good luck, and I hope you get her eating soon.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

  4. Guess ya didn't know that they eat guppies and minnows and goldfish and eat leafy greens?

Did you know that they need to bask under a reptile light UVA/UVB for  8 to 10 hrs a day for the vitamin D that  they need to grow. So that means getting a turtle dock also.

Leave the heater on 75 to 78 degrees always.

Their water needs to be clean otherwise they get sick easily from dirty water cause they p**p allot.

You need a good filter system!

You need to feed them feeder guppies, goldfish or minnows for protein and calcium daily drop 20 or so in the tanks and watch them disappear! This way when they swim for their dinner they get exercise also!

They need leafy greens( Romaine, Butter lettuce. Iceberg and cabbage are bad for them, any leafy greens will do) for vitamins at least 3 to 4 times a week.

And a big tank 55 gallons or more..
