  1. Make sure a JPEG formatted photo (with .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe extension) under 5MB in file size is saved to your hard drive. Sometimes re-saving a JPEG image in Microsoft Paint helps if you are having formatting issues.

    - Click your "My Page" link at the top of the 360 space

    - Click "Edit Profile Photos" over the empty picture frame

    - Click "Browse" and upload photo into an empty field. Then click one "use as primary" radio button on the right before saving.

You can't upload more than 4 profile pictures (this includes an avatar). Make sure that you are following the 360 Personal Photo guidelines here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/gui... .

NOTE1: If you can't upload an image in that module after following the above instruction or in different spots, it's a glitch and you are out of luck. You'll have to wait until it resolves itself, until Y!360 transitions to a new system in the 2nd half of 2008 (see http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 ), or try to do this via a different Yahoo ID.

If that's not the case and you do see an image displayed on your 360's personal profile pic module, but just not in Yahoo! Answers:

Then, come back to Yahoo! Answers. First, make sure that you are using the same Yahoo ID in 360 as you are in Yahoo! Answers. Click the "My Profile" link to the upper right of this Yahoo! Answers page, then click "Edit My Info" in the top left box on the Answers profile page. Scroll down to the image section and check the option of showing the 360 picture. Click Preview and then the OK button. Then, WAIT.

NOTE2: The image may not show up right away in Y/A, as it sometimes take days (and for some weeks) for the system to catch up. So, in the meantime, you will be without any picture on Y/A (blank, grayed out, messed up...whatever you want to call it). Just go through the above process and let your picture stay that way until the system makes your 360 image appear. If you don't want to wait, then just use a Yahoo! Avatar (http://avatars.yahoo.com ).

Also, some people never see an image show up. You can always post a bug report (or piggyback on other's bug reports) on the issue at the Y/A forum: http://suggestions.yahoo.com/?prop=answe... . This link between Y/A and Y!360 has been buggy for years. Y/A is your only contact in any case, as the Yahoo! 360 team is no longer fixing bugs related to its service as stated in their blog in October 2007 - http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 .

  2. The reason you are having so many problems with your 360 picture  is .. we are losing our Yahoo 360 accounts very soon according to the Yahoo product blog you can access by going to this link:

    http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360

There are many problems that will not be fixed by Yahoo on the 360, and they are getting worse each passing day. Sending them a bug report about a problem on your page will be ignored or a mass emailer will be sent to you.

I urge you to go to the product blog and read the information for the last three postings by yahoo about all of the changes that are coming to us soon.
