My Yahoo account was deleted without explanation, can I do anything?

The Yahoo account I had was deactivated a few days ago. I contacted customer service and they said it was because of a violation of Terms of Service, but they refuse to tell me what I did wrong.

I called and I was told that I had to e-mail. I e-mailed and I requested that the account be reactivated and I said that I want to know what it is that I did wrong so I won't do it again, but for some reason they won't tell me what the reason is. They just sent a link to the Terms of Service page. But there are so many rules. How and I supposed to know exactly what I did wrong if they won't tell me?

I really want my account back because all of my friends have that messenger screen name. Is there anything I can do?

If I could just open a new account, then what is the big deal about them just reactivating my old one?

If you already contacted yahoo, there is nothing you can do. Unless someone hijacked your password or someone else has access to your computer, your account and violated TOS, perhaps you can explain that in yahoo help section and maybe they can somehow restore your account. But I doubt it. You may just have to create a new one anyway.  

The only other thing I could suggest is that you make the same screenname , except add numbers or additional characters. For example if your screenname was " motorcyclist" , perhaps you can change it to "motorcyclist10". Once you do that, if you still know or have saved your friends emails, add them on your messenger and email them letting them know it's you and to add you with the new screenname.

Once you do this, I suggest you copy and paste all your friends names and email info and email it to yourself on a different account,  say MSN hotmail or just keep it in an address book or somewhere , that way, if it happens again, you won't lose all your favorites and your friends list.

Some one online must not have like something you said and reported  you to the abuse line as a joke.  You are probably stuck and need to start over. it is to bad that some people ruin it for the rest of us.

iv lost 6 yahoo account an 2 of them lost in less than 24 hours got reported for the answer of
