Question:

My Yahoo home page not updating?

About a week ago, most of the modules on my MyYahoo home page stopped updating. A few, like the NY Times and blog entries, are still updating with new info. But Reuters, AP, a local newspaper, horoscopes, etc. are all stuck on the old dates. I've tried on different computers, so this isn't a browser setting or cache issue. Most of the modules are RSS feeds so they should be updating automatically. Any ideas? (Please don't submit an "I don't know" post, I just waded through 10-15 of these trying to find an answer to this question.) Thanks!

  1. yes its only "broken" in the good classic version of my.yahoo.

This appears to be another "feature" added by yahoo to harass and alienate their customers

all part of their grand strategy of lowering their stock price until they can be acquired for candy change...

  2. It happened to me too.  It seems to me it's their last ditch effort to make us switch to the new version of my.yahoo (beta)(which I can't stand so I've been resisting).  When you go there, all of the articles and pictures are updated.

    Cruel trick...
