  1. If you don't have the manual, check the link.

    There should be collimation screws near the main mirror in the back.  You may have a Cheshire eyepiece - which slides into the focuser, and just has a small hole in it.  Point the scope at a bright white wall.  Look in the pin hole, and adjust the main mirror until the image of the hole on the eyepiece lines up with center dot on the main mirror.

    It may be that your secondary mirror is out of alignment, too.

    <edit>

    Do this while the scope is more or less horizontal.  You don't want to drop anything onto your primary mirror.

    If you've got a Cheshire, align the secondary first. You probably have a hex wrench to fiddle with little tiny screws.  First, looking through the eyepiece, you should see the secondary roughly centered.  (it's at a 45 degree angle from your viewpoint, but it should appear round anyway).  Anyway, you're trying to center the image of the primary on the secondary mirror, as seen through the focuser Cheshire.   Tighten the screws, maintaining alignment.

    I find this the most frustrating part of collimation.

  2. My best advice is if you have a local astronomical society, take your scope to one of their meetings and ask for help.

    Most clubs are happy to help a beginner.

    It would help if you gave a clearer description of what the problem is.  There's not much to go wrong with a Newtonian, so both Suitti and I are thinking you need help collimating the optics.  A sign of poor collimation would be if you aimed the scope at a star and put it out of focus, you'd see a "donut" with the hole off center.  When properly collimated, the hole in the "donut" would be centered.

    Otherwise, here are some links to web sites that explain how to collimate a newtonian reflector:

    This one has a video you can watch:

    If you don't have a "cheshire" or collimating eyepiece, you can make something that'll work reasonably well with one of the plastic containers 35mm film comes in.  Drill a small hole in the very center of the bottom of the container.  You may need to cut off the lip at the top where the cap snaps on so it'll fit in your focuser.

    Good luck
