My above ground pool is always green no matter what chemicals I use. What am I doing wrong? Please help!?

I have shocked, put chlorine in, algae-guard,everything that my pool supplier has suggest and still my pool is green. Chlorine was put into the pool two ways: The automatic chlorinater and directly into the skimmer basket. When I go in for a water test, the chlorine level is zero. Any suggestions?

you may need condtioner to stabilize chlorine levels and you should run the filter 24 hours a day untill it clears up
