  1. cut in to the pvc.  blow in to the line. go buy a 3/4 inch coupling to put in the  cut area also seal with pvc glue.afterwards go out to pvc drain line where it exits the house and visually look for dripping of condensate ( it may take 10to 20 mins if you dont see it do it  again.much cheaper than having a company come out. definately make sure you get the water out of the overflow pan. (major problems if you dont)

  2. I assume you're referring to the condensate drain.  You need to get/rent/borrow a plumbers drain snake, and shove it down the drain.

Or, if the condensate drains to a gutter, you might be able to shove the snake in from that end.

And check if the clog might be right there in the gutter.

  3. Your primary line may be piped from the positive air pressure side of your fan section

( Indoor unit) or from a negative side of the same. use common since to find the line that leaves the indoor unit and runs outside. A good wet vac can be used on the outside leaving end and also inside the cabinet where the indoor cooling coil rests in the condensate pan.

If your set up is negative side of the fan it will have a trap (a "J" shape or a "U" shave) formed in the line to help the negative application drain. this trap needs vacuuming also. The obstruction could be before or after the trap. and the drain pan that the line is piped from is probably slimy and needs vacuuming also. open and access door on the unit to find it. but be sure the power is off. You may have to use pressure like and air hose to dislodge the first blockage. but be careful. If You are in a condo or apartment..and your drain is piped to common of others, you will blow a mess out all in their space..... I vacumn and test first.

  4. matt c is right but get your pvc before you cut and use the wet and dry glue its blue also look under your bath sink the sink with 3/4 pvc going to it sometimes the finish plumber covers up the drain line to your a/c with too long tail pc take p-trap off feel up there is the drain to your a/c blocked cut the blockage out and clear the drain then re assemble

  5. you can blow line with compressed air also treat pan with clorox or pan tabs purchased at a a/c supply shop
