My acer 8920G doesn't shut down, but restarts

Dear Sir, I bought recently an Aspire 8920G. Trying to shut down, the computer simply restarts. I replaced the OS Vista Home Premium, now I have installed de Ultimate version. The problem persists.Do you have any idea to solve such problem? I will appreciate your help.
