My acer aspire 4310's screen has been...

the screen of my aspire 4310 has been doing some "blinking" recently jusy awhile i truned it on and nothing came out on the screen, i could see the outline of the wallpaper but the screen ws totally dark...what is the problem with it.. sometimes when i tap the battery pack or the area above the batter pack the screen comes to life..maybe it's only the battery? loose probably?
