My action replay DS makes my DS lite freeze help!?

Question

whenever i turn on my DS the only thing that shows ups is the N in the beginning of Nintendo and on the bottom screen everything shows up. but its very light colored and it doesn't go past the N unless my action replay isn't in the slot. does anyone know what is wrong with my action replay? or how to fix it? here is a pic of what it looks like.

Well I don't know how to fix it sorry but that happened to me 20 minutes ago and I was in a hurry so I just turned it off then turned it back on and it worked fine.
