My adapter makes noise?

Question

I just bought a new universal adapter(can switch voltage) and my adapter keeps making noise when its not powering up my computer.......sometimes it makes a buzzing noise and sumtimes it makes a ticking noise

it could just mean that somthing inside or something its sitting on is vibrating. if its just vibrating, theres nothing to worry about. move it around a bit to see if it keeps happening
