My adenium seedling has'nt branched as yet?

i hav recently got an potted adenium from a nursery in my native place in west bengal.i stay in mumbai and after the yellowing ang falling of a few leaves new leaves started sprouting.recently the old pot broke and i repotted it in a big plastic pot.however it has'nt shown any budding or branching as yet.it is potted indoors on the near a window facing west.i water my plant once d day .its almost a month since i got the plant i donno whats wrong???

  1. I wouldn't water it "once a day" especially in a "big pot". If the pot is much bigger than the last one, the roots aren't extending in to the full volume and the soil will stay wet and rot the roots. Rather I would water it when it is almost dry. Go by how heavy the pot feels. It takes longer to see the effects of over watering, yellowing and falling of leaves, but by that time the damage until it is already done,  whereas drying out you can tell sooner and remedy straight away.

    If you want it to branch snip off the apical meristem, the very, very tip.
