im good with deck installation but im stuck on this one. my deck worked fine until the other day i turned it up real loud and the deck shut off and it hasnt turned on since. i checked all the fuses and theyre fine. i took the power wire that goes to the deck and touched it to the ground and it doesnt spark. could one of the wires that goes to the deck burned up or something from playing it too loud? its a 94 integra.

thanks

  1. Stereos are tricky even if the fuse doesn't look blown it could still be bad, you should check it with some sort of fuse checker. Check the fuses in you main fuse box, one of those could have blown. If it still doesn't work take the stereo out and try connecting it directly to the battery, both the yellow & red wires need to be touching the pos. battery post, and you'll need to ground it some where in the engine or i guess to the neg. battery post. If it still doesn't work then it's probably fried.

  2. sounds like u got a power problem from the fuse box,try running a new power wire to ur head unit.
