They said they will apply me for the work permit s pass last june 19. I applied for the

You may need some patience it takes 6 weeks here to get anything done. Don't count on it being faster there.  I was there with my hubby a couple years ago and loved it but it's expensive to live there.  You won't have a car because its highway robbery just to get a drivers liscense.  But the transportation system is super great and you will meet lots of great people there.  Make sure to do some sight seeing while you're there.  The Jurong Bird park and the Zoo were the best.
