I have 6 GCSE's grade A-C, I am now 8 yrs out of school and I am considering doing a A-Level in Psychology. I was hoping someone would be able to answer a query I have in that although I really want to be able to do a degree in Psychology I do not know what qualifications I need??? If anyone can shed light it would be very much appreciated

  2. if you do an A level in psycology most universities will not allow you to do a degree in psycology. Something to do with an unfair advantage.

To be allowed in for a Psycology degree you need to take biology and maths at A level.

  3. im about to start a psychology degree in september and did not study it for a level. in terms of grades it wholely depends on the uni could be very high grade or low.

the answer above is inaccurate of course you study psychology at a level, the good uni's actually require it

  4. Look at the websites for the uni's you'd like to go to and look up admission requirements.  As you're a mature student, you could get in via Access courses or an OU course- indeed you could do the whole degree via the Open University, without needing the A-level first.

    Good luck!
