  1. It may be taking a while for your air conditioner to come out because it doesn't yet feel completely comfortable with its sexuality. Coming out is a long process... try talking to it, but don't push it. The aim is to make it aware that you're okay with it's sexuality so that it will be more comfortable being open about it.

    Hope this helps!

  2. could be a number of things, capacitors, wiring ect. i would recommend getting someone in, there isn't very much you can really do unless you can fault find, it is most likely electrical. btw i am a sparky and i don't suggest you should go taking it apart you won't get it back together and you might shock yourself.

  3. It's probably a gunked-up filter. You could check and see who makes it and call the company or call Home Depot. They are really helpful. It's pretty easy to change a filter actually. Some of them you can just wash off and re-use BUT always check to make sure you can do this with the brand/type you have. In the meantime, get a fan and try to stay cool...It's REALLY hot in California right now too....Best of luck to you!

  4. sounds like a fan problem

  5. it could be a dirty filter or the evaporator is freezing up turn it off for a couple of hours and turn it back on see if that does it
